Re: More than 80% of the 39 ghz was retained One would think that AT&T's bean counters and execs know what they are doing, and chose to "pay the US Treasury $27 million to settle the FiberTower dispute," instead of moving forward on those plans. Whether it will do as the FCC claims to move 5G along is something to watch though

More than 80% of the 39 ghz was retained 80%+ of the 39 GHZ portfolio was retained. I assume these are all the prime licenses in the major metro areas. Giving up licenses in the badlands of Texas or Montana is no skin off the back of ATT. Right now it appears 28/39 is the prime MM Wave of choice.
