Other than the deal underwriters, would anyone else really be interested in the price tag put on this? It's not like real money is involved.

I'm just interested in watching Legere, who built a brand reputation as a consumer ally, defend the kind of deal that will indisputably kill 10-20,000 jobs and which hitsory has repeatedly shown will reduce the incentive to seriously compete on price. There remain numerous potential Sprint partners (Comcast, Altice) that don't involve screwing up competitive balance.
