The Glass Ceiling has existed for some time
LEED Certified Multifamily residential buildings have been having this issue for some time.  Any frequencies above 1 Ghz have difficulty penetrating these buildings, whcih is why in building WiFi Calling and data services have become so prevalent.

This already has a big impact on 4G. Buildings codes, and the desire to be energy efficent, mean new buildings more or less have to use it. You see this all over the place lately.
