Reactions Reactions to this are pouring in across the web now, of course. I thought this one was well said: https://medium.com/@yonatanzunger/so-about-this-googlers-manifesto-1e3773ed1788

Re: Reactions? The whole memo is here:
A good portion of it is classic nature/nurture argument stuff. pretty dull.

Re: Reactions? Internal message board, presumably viewable -- and shareable -- by other employees.

Re: Reactions? Do we know where this guy posted his manifesto? Was it on an "after hours" discussion board? I vaguely remember seeing something like that this morning.

Context matters here.

Re: Reactions? I can't believe this guy had the gall to release a memo on this.

If this is how you feel, keep it to yourself. You just lost a great job because of this. I guess that is the price.

Re: Reactions? Thanks -- but that's not my picture, it's just an avatar.

Re: Reactions? Mitch -- Agree, there's more than a reasonable case for entrapment, at least from an outside-looking-in perspective. But it's hard to imagine a lower-level employee has a snowflake's chance in Qatar to win a case against Google's legion of lawyers.

Re: Reactions? If the guy was otherwise a good employee, he should not have been fired, or even disciplined. Period. Particularly if this was posted on an open discussion board where people are supposed to be encouraged to speak their minds.

Re: Reactions? Too bad there isn't a rehab for stupidity!
