futureproofing
Futureproofing could really catch on. It sounds like fireproofing, but with sci-fi overtones.

User POV
Interesting point from a user, and one that I hadn't considered.

Their problem with Cisco is the amount of cruddy code that gets into production -- something the "network intuitive" can't really help with.

Re: Success
Not so sure everyone wants to see Cisco succeed here.

All the people who wanted intent-based networking to be a non-proprietary, industrywide effort ... they're probably not too happy to see Cisco claim the mantle of "intent" as a propriatary and not-really-open technology.

Success
I think everyone in tech wants to see Cisco succeed with this. The idea of using these new networking technologys (namely software) to simplify things for customers is something a lot of organizations will pay for.
