With the projections that "the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) would see a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 20.5% between 2015 and 2019," it's going to take some substantial investment to get the cloud expansion infrastructure going. I wonder what competition Microsoft is up agains in South Africa and if others are aiming at that or is North Africa a place of interest as well?

Regions
Regionalizing is key for the cloud, and it's smart for Microsoft to get a quality implementation going for this in Africa. Europe and Asia are going to require cloud companies to have localized datacenters. It's just more comfortable for many countries.
