FB vs. SNAP
Well FB does seem to be worried about them because they copy pretty much everything SNAP does and rolls it out to a much larger user base. I only hear young kids talking about Snapping this or that, not FB message anymore. They are pretty much the only app that has a chance at competing with FB, so I am bullish.

Kind of makes you wonder if investing is more gambling than investment. Or an example of you can fool most of the people most of the time, but figuring out which path is the fool's and which is of a prudent investor.

Re: TBTC Thursday
Facebook managed to make the transition from fad to ubiquitous utility. That's pretty hard to pull off.

Re: TBTC Thursday
The difference here is Facebook figured out how to make money. When it went public, that wasn't entirely clear either. With Snap, I think they are going to find a harder road to profitability. Are there going to be ads? Are they going to start collecting data. Are they going to be content provider? Who knows, but they are in the same place Facebook once was. Some say Facebook got lucky to profitability. We'll see if it can be replicated.

TBTC Thursday
We saw this game played dozens of times circa 1999. And we'll see it again because "smart" people know the world is filled with suckers.
