It still amazed me that despite huge fines and the bad PR that corruption is still rampant in the industry. With "charges of corruption in central Asia, forcing the company to pay an $800 million fine." one would think that personnel and companies would steer far away from bribes or even the suggestion of such.

Kjell Johnsen is probably still being introduced to his colleagues and now he's in charge of Russia's third largest mobile operator.

At least he has the experience to take on that role but I wonder if Megafon and MTS will seek to capitalize... Beeline can expect a rough ride in the coming weeks I expect.
