@Michelle: Yeah, given that, I wonder if it's a commentary on the underlying technology and/or MVNO business model that there aren't much in the way of similar competitors.

I nearly made a leap to the service myself. I agree they had a pretty good model. I hoped to see other silimar offerings but those haven't really appeared.

Good to see FreedomPop doing so well.  I considered switching to them when they were the new kid on the block, but ultimately didn't because, well, I anticipated this:

One does, after all, tend to get what one pays for.

But I would like to see the technology and that business model (or a similar one) work -- and upend the industry accordingly.
