Re: Carriers + Media = a likely marriage?
It does...and carriers work closely with media companies in the wholesale side of their business selling global content distribution services, local caching of popular content etc. Carriers have come to realize it's all about the content, but they are good at distribution and billing. We hear that entertainment will be a big focus for mobile operators in 2017, especially in new and growing mobile markets where consumers are keen to watch live sporting events and TV, video clips on their new 'smartphones'. So we will see new partnerships developing for sure...

Carriers + Media = a likely marriage?
Carriers are moving into content areas, and Media companies are renewing/transforming their infrastructure. It looks ripe for a partnership.
