Re: The Future of the Metro Data Center Interconnect Cloud On-Ramps: These are "places" where Amazon and MSFT place high-speed network architecture and provision (and attached to) dedicated high speed network pipes to provide low hop (minimal network regeneration points) directly into their cloud platforms.

AWS = Direct Connect

MSFT = Express Route
