I too am surprised to see the increase in revenue given what's going on with the Chinese economy. My only answer to this is that despite the issues that are going on in the People's Republic, its citizenry still wants to have the best mobile service possible. And that comes from China Mobile.

Staggering. There are roughly 1 billion 4G subscribers globally and half of them are in China.

And this 4G subscriber growth hasn't just happened because China is a big country. It is the result of major investment in networks and a lot of effort to drive down 4G handset pricing in prior years.

As Bloomberg noted, 65 million is about the size of the UK. Staggering.
