Re: AOptix, A good idea, managed poorly
One employee should be the tip off. Those investor risking $150 million can't be too happy I would certainly guess. But maybe the fire sale of equipment can cut the losses a bit?

AOptix, A good idea, managed poorly
I am a Bay area wanderer from Vancouver Canada.    i know about point to point, very well.    If you can do it by cable, and fiber optics,    in the ground ducts, " DO It ",   if it is quick and a needed necessity,   get this wonder of an optical dada distributor.    Srue it costs money,  but to set up a need,  quickly  this was it.     As to profitability, one only needs to look at what is being auctioned off, to see the test bed set ups,  " there is nothing new " ,   the narrow focus, was lost,    and the big money budget was squandered " in my opinion "    so there is little left,  except the mainstream unit,  " snatched up for a bargain " and only one employee joining forces.    that tells a lot in itself.      Shame on this, it is still needed.     the twenty thousand unit  end to end,   can still be built,   and deployed by the Hundreds, in Cities,   ' OH, Cities are going into the pits "  there is no money for this.   Well it was interesting while it lasted.      Some one will pick this up, and try again.    No one is wanting to build good underground services,     " ask the Telcos and get a laugh "  ,  Thomas Gx,   "rttg"  yvr.ca
