danielcawrey,indeed, and the lines are truly blurring.  Intel's capabilities make them a leading player to fill this new space.  Again, it is increasingly platforms that bring these capabilities together, rather than just a specific technology, service, et.  Intel seems to be recognizing this.

Intel understands that mobile is going to become a huge part of its business someday. And there's no time better than now to get started with poaching people that have deep experience in this area. I wouldn't be surprised if the company makes more moves in this regard.

Iain, sounds like a smart move on the part of Intel.  They truly appear to be transitioning into a capability for technology/user platform that I would think will continue to drive the demands for their sensors, chips, etc.  They have hired a true "pro" so this should work.

Are any other companies situated with this mix of tech/talent or will they now be unique?
