Can the NAB be more disingenuous?

If the NAB wants their stations to reach more households, they should FIX their broadcast signal, and also stop releasing spectrum so competitors like Verizon and AT&T can buy it at auction for cell phone service.

It's almost as if AT&T and NAB are colluding between themselves starting back with the HDTV coversion.  Freeing airwaves, using taxpayer money to subsidize HDTV conversion boxes, then AT&T buys the airwaves.
If NAB was serious about broadcasting, or even PayTV, they'd be placing much more value on the airwave rights, and prevent them from going to auction or for sale.  Additionally, they also would be included PayTV Broadcast standards in set-top box standards.  After all, set Top boxes for Broadcast PayTV capability is nothing new, the technology has been used in Europe for several decades now.
The disingenuousness of this FCC filing is very apparent by the way they act.
