One Shoe will Never Fit all
NFV or for that matter any new trend will come with lot of strengths and a couple of instances where it is not good at. Also it will never happen overnight. Cost/Benefit analysis for the vanilla/mass/low cost deployments needs to be taken care. We have lot of old techonologies tha have been deployed and will not be replaced any time soon. We still lack on te portfolio of Performance monitoring of the last mile solution in NFV world. It definetly looks good at Datacenter and newer deployments of the Broadband/Enterprise.
