role of telecom in bridging the gaps
The war in 1998. The telecom and energy collaboration now when we are close to 2018.

Its quite revealing to see how telecoms bring hostile nations together.

I am looking forward to see the same happening between North & South Korea. India and Pakistan.

Vendors owning spectrum
I had forgotten that Qualcomm owned spectrum. It did the same in India too, where it acquitred spectrum to help boost the chances of LTE TDD being deployed, kickstarted a business and then gradually sold off the vendture...

And if I remember rightly, Motorola was once an operator in several countries, including Israel. (Now Hot Mobile, I think...)
