The LPWA versus LTE-M debate is an interesting one that I haven't heard too many operators discussing yet. But, it makes sense that the IoT doesn't need 4G or 5G for a lot of its use cases. Do the two extremes of use cases require different networks, or will 5G be flexible enough to meet the needs of both? I'll be interested to see how if licensed or unlicensed wins out too. We may see the two butting heads a lot more going forward.
