More from Pacnet
I agree, Pacnet is becoming a great case study for what bigger operators can do with these new technologies, business models, and operational models.

If anyone is interested in hearing more from Pacnet, we have Jim Fagan as our guest service provider speaker on our Metro Data Center Interconnect webinar, March 17th. Those interested can register here:

Re: This is important stuff
Yes, the ability for customers to self-provision networks on demand in minutes using a Web interface is classic SDN. It'll be standard in a few years -- CSPs that don't offer it won't be able to compete.

Translation by Vanan
Translation will be the procedure for converting the string of the messenger log (transcript) compound to your collection of proteins during protein synthesis. The genetic rule explains the partnership between base pairs in a gene and also the corresponding amino acid sequence's sequence that it encodes. While in the cell cytoplasm, the ribosome reads the protein to be assembled by the transcript in groups of three bases' routine.

This fun activity tailored from the Translation by Vanan School of Nebraska has a far more detailed examine two vital periods of the process: translation and transcription in addition to an overview of protein activity. Transcript offers the required directions forever, and protein synthesis may be the method where the directions of log are enacted. The genetic content is stored in many bacteria within the form of log.

This is important stuff
Other network operators should be all over what Pacnet is doing. This is the future of service delivery and customer experience surely!

Telstra will learn a lot (the good and the bad, of course) once it has acquired Pacnet.
