All's well that ends well?
He(Iyer) helped Juniper move its customer management, email, expense reporting and procurement software to public cloud software from Salesforce.com Inc.CRM -1.22%,Microsoft Corp.MSFT -0.47%, Concur Technologies Inc. and Coupa Software, respectively. The company also moved financial and human resource applications to private clouds hosted by other vendors. Mr. Iyer was CIO at Honeywell International Inc as well, so I'd say he knows what he's doing and how he'll do it, provided the CEO gives flexibility to his operational ideas on Cloud.

Funny misunderstanding
When I read VMware's statement about Scott moving to US CIO, I thought, wow, so Scott was VMware's CIO and now he's just the CIO for the US business unit. So he's been demoted? And he's reporting to this guy from Juniper? And VMware said all that in its press release? That's gotta be awkward.

But no Scott isn't CIO of the US business unit of VMware. He's CIO of the US, full stop.
