Re: 100G is old news in Michigan
Any idea why they chose to go with a two box solution when Cyan has 100g available today or so they claim. That would have been a good question to ask.

Re: 100G is old news in Michigan
I checked the companies he did name as competitors, and did not come across one that had launched 100G in Michigan. When he mentioned "biggest" competitor and later named AT&T as a main competitor, I took that to mean the earlier mention was in reference to AT&T, though I see now this may have not been the case. I'll see what else I can find out.

It would help if you identify the company you're with. If you're saying your company launched 100G before Comlink, it might be easier to get the correct info.

100G is old news in Michigan
This article needs a bit of fact checking. 100G has been utilized in Michigan for almost 2 years by Comlink's largest unnamed competition in this article, to say Comlink was the first is completely false. Another falsehood is that 100G ISN'T in demand in the metro space. Our Fortune 100 and 500 global Enterprise customers are just now starting to adopt 10G, not sure how they would afford 100G. Not sure where JS can justify keeping this gear on their shelves when the next order is 2 years away. If I was an investor in Comnet I would be a bit upset at that waste of capital. Also JS was misquoted, it should have read "JS: AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T) is a big one, but we also work closely with AT&T in court".
