It seems logical for li-ka to bid for EE as both entities already work together in Britain through a network sharing agreement deal.
But we will have to see if this will not be faced with anti-trust issues.

Li Kashing has been selling down his Hong Kong and China real estate assets and is looking for places to put his cash, so this sounds plausible. He seems to like Euro telcos, like Orange Austria and O2 Ireland. Interesting that he thinks Europe is a more attractive place to invest than China.
