When looking at what this standards group it composed of, you'd have to think this is about cable providers trying to figure out a better streaming product to compete. 

Sure, Yahoo is included here, but I would argue they have been trying to become a pipe for content like a cable company for quite some time.

Good luck...
Trying to not get involved with politics.. hmm. what is their goal again? Leaving out Google and Netflix already seems like they've taken as stance on net neutrality.... It would be surprising if the current membership had a different stance than many of its members. And taking "no stance" doesn't seem likely or possible?
