Re: Transform your DC or enable with Cloud capabilities your Telco network
Yes, I do. There is quite a lot of discussion these about how distributed VNFs will be.

It is looking quite likely that network PoPs will be used extensively--especially for applications that are sensitive to latency.

As functions move away from the purpose built platforms that currently reside in PoP onto servers, expect to see PoPs look more and more like a data center. The distinction between PoP and data center will blur as both environments change.

Transform your DC or enable with Cloud capabilities your Telco network
Major advantage of Telco operators is proximity to end users. Today they are less than half a mile away! It could be a waste to consider Cloud only in Few datacenters.

Do you foresee the great advantage they have if they enable all Network nodes with Cloud capabilities?, they will be able to smoothly move virtualized nodes all across their network to fulfill high traffic demands, they will be able to compromise to tighters SLA's than any other Cloud DC provider could, they could allow Enterprise to configure nodes and services in their own building (or to the closer Telco node) to fulfill security and network isolation... opperators could do magic!
