As more of the work moves to contractors, the quality of service wanes. I've had cable technicians come in who were clueless, and others who were very good. So the more contractors they have, the more of a crapshoot it will be on what kind of service one receives.

Yeah, it would also be interesting to how many contractors they have. They were using contractors for a lot of Network Vision installations IIRC.

More people are getting the pink slip just before the holiday season. Not very cheery for them.
