I think Value is definitely an important V for Big Data, particularly when the next level challenge on Big Data is not about how CSPs can manage the data, but about how they can leverage that data for derive business/economic value. CSPs hence need Big Data Analytics capabilities to enhance their revenues, improve margins, optimize cost, reduce subscriber churn and generate new revenue streams ...

You mentioned velocity, volume, and variety of big data, but what about the other important V: value?

How do you see the digital ecomomy in three to five years' time affecting telecom operators in terms of applying the value of big data?
