cost of translation
I thought this was a pretty cool service, although I'm not sure I'd be willing to pay a monthly subscription for it. I suppose it depends how often you're in need of translation, but if it's that frequrently, may be time for Rosetta Stone.

The service is coming to the other carriers soon, so it'll be interesting to see how they price it.

Very interesting Sarah...I think that the cost is going to be the biggest hurdle for most people.  If I only need periodic help I can go to Google, Babelfish, or wherever for free.  Everything depends on their price model!
