Moving to a new building will not solve Ericsson current IP problems. They are way behind in the market compared to Cisco, ALU, Juniper.They don't have brand name to attract top talent. Only option for them is to buy an established player or invest in startup which they can acquire later rather than investing in failed redback group

Not a bad strategy, although they said they are consolidating to the new headquarters, so I imagine moving everyone thataway, but maybe they'll keep both.

If they keep their current North San Jose site (the old Redback buildings), they'll be flanking Cisco on two sides. Classic pincers movement.
