Not really that old, I would say...  Many significant hacks are inside jobs or have an inside element -- particularly through social engineering.  Indeed, insider threats are among the biggest security risks many organizations face.

Cliche security
If ever I run a bank, this is going to be the required uniform of all branch employees -- because it's the least likely thing for a real criminal to wear.  ;)

More companies are getting back to employee uniforms. I guess the security industry is picking the 'mask and striped clothing' look.

This is a very useful application. Is it really happening in the security industry anywhere? Last time I checked, these were being used for outdoor advertisements & brand activations. In one case anyone from audience could come and sing with *their favorite star* on stage.

@Ray Actually a holgram might work as a security feature. Instead of just setting lights on timers, you'd have your own projection walking around the house and deliberately passing in front of a window.
