Maybe this is exactly what CE 2.0 needs to really start ramping up. The MultiCoS bit of CE 2.0 in particular is something that has mostly been waiting on the sidelines up to this point.

Here's the Calix answer:

 

Service Verify is compatible with a variety of widely deployed third party devices and access platforms, quickly approaching 20 vendors and 70 models today and still growing. It uses ITU Y.1731 standards for performance monitoring collection and Y.1564 for service activation. Additional devices will be approved through the Calix Compatibility labs based on customer request.
