Maybe part of the issue with TV Everywhere (other than how depressing the thought of TV everywhere is) is that any revenue is going to be incremental (i.e., tack-on money as opposed to a new revenue stream). So as much as some people look forward to the day that they'll be able to watch Red Green or Green Acres or Dancing with the Wolves on the unemployment line or at Aunt Edna's funeral on the device of their choice, the additional revenue that will bring in to operators and content owners isn't likely to be all that great compared with just leaving that valuable content on one mainstream platform or service. (And yes, that may be the longest sentence I've ever written.)
