This is what happens when competitive tendering isn't competitive. BT and the DCMS are going to have a lot of explaining to do over the coming weeks.

BT favored in UK? Surely not....
So BT, whose ex-CEO has just joined the UK government, has been getting its own way in the British broadband rollout market? Did the civil servants and politicians cave under the pressure of the incumbent's persuasive tactics and market power?

Call me when the status quo  changes....

And the British government has the cheeck nto boast about how it encourages competition. Meanwhile, BT is believed to be mounting a legal challenge against one of the companies that has had the temerity to build some alternative fiber infrastructure in the north England city of York.
