Even allowing for maximum ranges there would need to be at least 8000 hotspots to cover that area. GDP per capita is about USD3600. With that income range there are not all that many people on the island who are able to make use of the great service. In fact most of them would think that it's about as useful as an ashtray on a motorcycle.
re: World's First WiFi NationGiven that their primary income arrives with visiting yachts (during the non-cyclone season...and how long is that?), my guess is that they have a single hotspot in the harbor, where the harbormaster cum tribal chief holds court in his "government offices." clever pr effort...
