re: Who's Ahead in DWDM?
The article started with this question, and then answered "no one is." Or am I missing something?

re: Who's Ahead in DWDM?
I suspect this market is receding as well. Factual-based comments appreciated.

re: Who's Ahead in DWDM?
according to this, almost 1.3B of ciena's 1.4B in 2001 revenues are DWDM. For all the attention optical switching is getting, DWDM is where the action is.

re: Who's Ahead in DWDM?
The networks are migrating from 2.5 Gb/s to 10 Gb/s, the questions is who is leading this??

re: Who's Ahead in DWDM?
Somebody has asked the correct question - more than likely find that Ciena are nowhere in the 10Gb/s market.

Next question will be what about the numbers of channels - these numbers will be for lower end systems..

Try Lucent for systems with larger numbers of channels and at 10Gb/s also.
