re: Triple Play Promise at IOCs Calix customer Jerry Melick, general manager of Liberty Communications, says his company has 26 C7 systems in its network, which currently provides DSL service to more than 400 customers, about 11 percent of its customer base.

================================================

26 C7s for 400 DSL customers ? About 18 customers per C7 ! Is this the kind of stuff you want to publicize ?

Liberty Communications as your flagship customer ! Is this the kind of stuff you want to publicize ? (check out their web site)

Willy got it right. Gotta love the IOCs.

re: Triple Play Promise at IOCs Terra,

Seems to me that the "flagship" customers are Alltel and CenturyTel, according to their web site.

Also, I assume that if liberty bought a swiss army knife, they'd be using it for more than just DSL. How many POTS? Sonet transport? Etc.

re: Triple Play Promise at IOCs Occam may be putting out press releases citing big customers, but their financials don't reflect any progress.

They just announced today. Revenues down 12% and gross margins down to less than 1%. Can anybody tell me how you can increase your customer base by 50% but decrease your revenues?

re: Triple Play Promise at IOCs That's easy.
How about 50% rebate? 70%? 90%?
