re: TiMetra for Sale? That's right, ALA is paying 6% of itself for
TiMetra.

As a comparison, the market cap of:

Riverstone - 198.5M (with 200M Cash)
Redback - 139.1M (with 100M cash)
Tellium - 95.8M (with 150M Cash)
Sickmore - 1000M (with $730.6M cash)
Extreme - 619.3M (with 160M cash)
Corvis - 395.3M (with 400M Cash)

Lucent - 9.6B
Alcatel - 10B
Nortel - 11.5B
Cisco - 115B
Ciena - 2.3B
Juniper - 4.9B

Timetra is valued like Juniper, just wonder
how much would be Procket worth ? Force10 ?
The stuff TiMetra is doing seems just like
what Riverstone has done.

Yes, it's about time for Siemens to do something in IP-Edge now that they sold off Redstone to Juniper. The scary part is that they probably will.

re: TiMetra for Sale? Average engineer makes 0.3% of 150 million
= 450, 000 (halv vesting/2 years = 225, 000)

re: TiMetra for Sale? No way! If each engineer had 0.3% of stock, 30% of stock would be with employees.
Typically an employee gets 0.05% of stock if he joins before the second round.

re: TiMetra for Sale? 0.05% looks ok (75K)

Another Hummer on the road with money left.
