re: Telica Signs Verizon The Telica density you quote is for TDM to TDM switching. Their VoP density is less; I believe it is 18,000 protected ports. Sonus density is 8,000 VoIP calls per shelf. Sonus is building a bigger and badder box or at least working on the density and scalability of their current GSX. They can stall their customers by saying that as well and not letting the new next gen guys get in the door.
