Nortel's stength in enterprise business plus the Wireless will definitely provide strong proposition for the new JV. but the issue will end here, the new JV needs to acquire more business to survive including the routing, Application technology. I believe the Telabs and one of the application acceleration player will be the best option.
re: Nortel, Moto in JV Talks?Not that Alcatel-Lucent was highly imaginative - but does anyone actually use that? They fondly (!) refer to that "merger" as Alcalu (shades of bitter alkali) or ALU (aloo, which means potato in Hindi).
