Anyone who is in the market for an exec who will make major purchasing decisions while openly taking shares awarded by the suppliers, here's your chance.

Sorry dude.  Bross is not going to help them with execution or vision.

The only possible reason to bring Bross into Juniper is to close a sale, which would confirm Wall Street rumors. The company needs more execution, not vision.

Seriously, Juniper?  If they hired Bross, I now have no respect left for that company.

I'd agree with geekhole that Juniper has about as much vision as it can handle.

In the west, Huawei needs to focus on high volume, low cost markets like DVRs, Femto/Wi-Fi residential routers, wireless APs, FTTH/FTTC, smartphones, etc where security is less a concern and their lower prices would be welcome, not the network core where they are not.

Is this a sign of more to come at Huawei? It seems to be right on the heels of the Congressional statement and the 60 Minutes story.

Is Huawei dismantling the US operation?

Craig,

You're being kind today.  Right now, they don't have either vision or execution.  I'm sure there are Juniperians who despised PBT and may not be able to stomach Bross in an exec role there...

What are the underlying causes of Juniper's slow execution problem?

When you think about it the timing of this article is pretty funny:  Sycamore just shut down, and they really wouldn't have been worth a damn without the Williams contract.

I'm glad to see that he's been immortalized in the literature.
