re: Light Reading's Top Ten Private Companies I just saw Dynarc at comnet in DC. They do have cool stuff. They were doing a demo with another company, Luxn, who had some great product to.

re: Light Reading's Top Ten Private Companies So what are they missing? They're attached to the 802.17, why aren't they making anything of themselves? I'm interested in hearing peoples thoughts.

re: Light Reading's Top Ten Private Companies
I believe that you should seriously consider the offer.

I personally know a lot of the team leads and engineers working at Jasmine. Some of them are world's brightest brains. Jasmine is worth a lot (if someone was to acquire Jasmine) just based on the people it has.

The upper management is from wall street. But a lot of the engineering team are top rankers from IITs, International Math Olympiad champs etc.
I have no equity in Jasmine, but I wish I did.

It may not be a good place if you are laid back kind. Because with these people, it is a very aggressive work environment. But you get to work with world's smartest people.

re: Light Reading's Top Ten Private Companies Rajeev:

Thank you for your response for Jasmine. If you do not mind, can you also rate the following companies (i.e. whether to consider job offers from these comapnies?)

Kestrel Solutions
Mayan Networks
Procket Networks
Allegro Networks

re: Light Reading's Top Ten Private Companies
with all the start-ups in firing mode, it is so scary to take up a job in a start-up... isn't it?

re: Light Reading's Top Ten Private Companies First of all, folks in US doesn-¦t really attract to a technology that isn-¦t developed by US Labs or the "Big Ones". Another reason could be that the history of scandinavian runner-ups in optics,
hasn-¦t been able to get there all the way.

My guess is though, that the interest for Dynarc just has began.

re: Light Reading's Top Ten Private Companies I know, the two companies have successfully demonstrated the capabilities of advanced optical channel allocation and multi-ring provisioning.

Here-¦s from another one;http://www.dynarc.com/DWAT/DWA...
