re: Supercomm Returns? All the Tier 2s and 3s are at TelcoTV - not NXTcomm.

re: Supercomm Returns? yep that half the problem its in San Diego - far far away from where the customer live.

At least with Supercomm we had the shows in reasonable places.

re: Supercomm Returns? What are your top five trade show cities for telecom?

Or should a show like Supercomm/NXTcomm simply go on a five-year rotation to visit each of the top five incumbent carrier headquarter cities?

Dallas, New York, Denver, etc.

re: Supercomm Returns? 1) the show should ABSOLUTELY be located near where carriers actually made decisions. NOTE: this is not always at the carrier HQ city. And yes, it should rotate.

2) carriers should be DIRECTLY involved. No carrier participation, no show. By directly involved.. the carriers should run ALL the sessions that are not part of the "booth" show floor. All seminars, all white papers.. etc. should be in forum's sponsored by the carriers. After all, these are the customers we are all trying to reach. They pay ALL the bills. NOTE: I define carriers to mean RBOC, ILEC, CLEC, CableCO's, and not only T1, but also T2. The carriers pay the bills for all of us.
