re: Meet OpticonxI have to admit a couple of things, one childish and uncivilized, the other not. 1) This guy made me laugh, there are days you just want to tell people that. 2) I have been on other side of this, where Opticonx guy sits. You're under huge pressure to produce more and better results with less and less resources, and you know the worst possible thing in that environment is to NOT be engaged with the industry and your customers and competitors by attending a conference, and yet you sit there fuming that your boss can't find the money to attend this conference yet there still seems to be money for catered (internal only!) executive luncheons and off site meetings and for thick heavy full color brochures from the human resources department. Oh yeah you can only fume with your mouth shut because if you say to the boss what you really think you'll be on the next layoff list.
re: Meet OpticonxWell, someone was really hurt and for whatever reason lost it for a moment. But why making his post public? You guys should find out what really upset that sender rather than make a nonsense post.
No to disagree with you but I will. Sales 101 says you should at least reach out to the customer see what he is so upset about and how he felt like he was misled and possibly collect on his registration fee.
Instead you have alienated a potential customer and not made to many fans of the rest of us that can have off days. Even if this guy is the jerk he comes across as you don't have to stoop as low or deeper.
Shame on you Susan, shame on you!!!
Oh, I think it was pretty obvious.
