One thing we didn't make clear in the video is that Toledo is no long using Vudu, since it no longer makes standalone boxes. It's offering Samsung Blu-Ray disc players, free to consumers.


It's a really compelling approach - Merten says they break even in 11 months.

interesting - but what's their plan for the subset of customers that want live TV, premium content, etc? Will this approach scale for SPs with more than 2,300 subs?

We see our OTT product showing solid growth as more people learn about the ability to "cut the cord".  There is not a week that goes by where we don't have a new subscriber to the service.  We are also a DirecTV dealer however, we see more and more customers that prefer to obtain "premium" content via OTT and do everything they can to reduce the monthly "cable" bill.  Consumers have been begging for al la cart programming for years, OTT has shown it is possible.
