re: KSaria Changes Faces I've never seen any mention of EM4 Photonics on Light Reading. Aren't they involved in similar endeavors?

re: KSaria Changes Faces My impression of EM4 was that they did laser packaging and consulting but did not have their own automation equipment. They may have customized someone else's equipment or tweaked the process, but were more of a manufacturing service from the get go.

re: KSaria Changes Faces Palomar Technologies (www.palomartechnologies.com) has a process development/prototyping lab offering assembly services on fully automated equipment.

re: KSaria Changes Faces EM4 has developed some of their own proprietary assembly equipment, but is a contract manufacturer who also provides design services.

Newport has the most well established prototyping and packaging engineering services business...and has been at it for nearly 10 years. From design to full prototyping, using both their commercial equipment and that from other suppliers.
