re: Is the iPhone Becoming AT&T's RAZR? It's already ATT&T's RAZR but for how long? I'm not even sure if it's in Apple's best interest to extending its contract past 2010. The Iphone is a great smartphone device but the Blackberry is still out selling them by a rather large margin due to the exclusivity contract with AT&T. I'm sure Apple want to grow thier market share but it will not happen if they are exclusive. Thier number of units sold with just AT&T is amazing, just image adding the others...sales will easily surpass the Blackberry.

re: Is the iPhone Becoming AT&T's RAZR?

This comparasion is HORRIBLE.

The Razr was given away for free/cheap... just another typical phone...

iPhone was a revolution from the beginning... not just a phone, but a product of design/software... an instant game changer... it can do 1,000's of things... and we aren't even to the iPhone 3.0 software (or phone).... competitors can't even mimic it well; every iphone killer so far has been a joke; and the pre is not even out yet and under a failing company. Apple doesnt give the phones away. $199 with contract; $499-ish without.

I could write an article comparing McDonalds to a fancy winebar... but just because they sell a lot of their product doesnt mean they are in any way comparable.

Where are your comparasions of any of the attributes of the phone????????
