Sigma is struggling not because the IPTV market is going down. The reason is probably that first ST and then Broadcom are gaining share... When the big gorillas arrive on a market, it's tough for early niche players to stay. In semiconductors like in many other businesses, size matters.
re: IPTV Slump Sinks SigmaThe slowdown at Sigma is not a reflection on the IPTV arkets, which have been showing double digit growths. The case of Korea is not the right example to cite as the market has been saturated with Govt sponsered broadband.
