re: Intel Gets Into Fixed Wireless Hey Dan: Heard anything on a company called Adimos? Apparently started by a group of guys who grew out of Alvarion, including their Chief Scientist Michael Genossar. He's been published a few times within the IEEE 802.16a WMAN TG while still at Alvarion, and is scheduled to speak at the upcoming CMP Communications Design Conference in San Jose in late Sept.

Of interest - he'll be speaking on a panel at the conference focusing on the WPAN market along with Roberto Aeillo of Staccato - and UWB is intended to be a significant part of the discussion. I also saw an Israeli news report of Adimos in the process of rounding up a $15M early round from Intel, Jerusalem Venture Partners, Benchmark and Accel, among others. Pretty impressive...

Any news of these guys? See what you can find out for me - and thanks in advance for taking a look.
