re: GIG-BE Winners Named I think its obvious that the LR article was correct( the market spoke to loud ) , Corvis is in a similar boat ( I am long Corv ) a great marriage would be Lu or Csco with corv gear , but i doubt it will get done , DH has enough cash and a toy project Brw that will keep him occupied for a couple of years. I think Brw will turn out to be a good long term move because they got the assets so cheap , but it makes Corv a service supplier and Corv will not get the higher valuations even after the telecom nuculear winter ends.It is sad to see so many fellow longs in denial about the govt deal , move on, our only hope is DH gets bored and sells the gear to a company like Csco or Jnpr with some marketing muscle . Ps dont take yourself self so seriously

re: GIG-BE Winners Named Good job lightreading on this piece, it was almost 100% on target. The one thing that jumps out at me as being off-target is the asusmption that they would name a second source for optical transport, it looks like Ciena alone gets it.
