re: Extreme Juniper Rumors Are Back Please.. ETS is the worst of them all. If juniper is concerned about taking on profitable companies like EXTR and FDRY, why would they look at ETS that loses millions a quarter, has no new customers, 40% of their business is in service on existing accounts, and have closed most of their regional offices? They are a bargin at 80 cents a share and could be bought for less than 500M, but they also have twice the employees as EXTR and FDRY and twice the debt.

re: Extreme Juniper Rumors Are Back HP OEM's the PigIron 8000 from Foundry. That is the 9300. It's not part of the ProCurve line, but HP's "high end" layer 3-4 switching product when customers want a switch that actually will route packets. I don't see too many of them being sold, I have only seen a few of them in the real world. They look exactly like the PigIron 8000, have the same CLI, and say HP on the front. That is the only product the two companies share as far as I know.
