re: Cisco Storms the Metro Edge i heard they would push router based on SE
and will out maybe this month

re: Cisco Storms the Metro Edge you call this a story? why don't you just be honest about it and publish the press release. there's no balance here, no criticism of CSCO's re-packaged, yesterday's-news-products parading around as new products.

re: Cisco Storms the Metro Edge anyone know where RBAK is with those routers that are in trials right now?

re: Cisco Storms the Metro Edge Funny how you can't win no matter which way the analysis goes.

re: Cisco Storms the Metro Edge This is the first time I see a positively
headlined article on Cisco on LR. This is no
kissing up. About time LR focussed on the
positives of a company which truly delivers
when compared with the pretenders out there.
Good work!

noitall's comments indicate he/she is far from
knowing anything at all.

re: Cisco Storms the Metro Edge No, Scott, you can't win, you can only choose which side bashes you, the pro-Cisco side or the anti-Cisco side.
Scott Raynovich 12/4/2012 | 7:46:46 PM
re: Cisco Storms the Metro Edge Yes, fk, exactly. That is why we will continue to publish our own analysis--in both directions-- despite what people say. Third-party anlysis: Love it or leave it!

Cisco does generate fierce emotions, but that's to be expected. They are a leader. All leaders generate fierce emotions on both sides of the fence. Take Microsoft, for example. Or the New York Yankees. I think it's natural that very visible leaders such as these have strong support and equally strong critics. What I don't understand is why more people at Cisco (or Cisco investors) don't understand why people react so strongly to their company--in both directions.

Scott it's called "Tall Poppies" in Oz, ask some of your English colleagues for translation.

re: Cisco Storms the Metro Edge Scott

If you truly deliver on this claim of
publishing analysis both ways this reader
will applaud you. My (personal) opinion is that
you will be more successful that way rather than
if you are perceived as being either biased or
"getting manipulated by vested interests" or
simply out of touch.
